the FS class 1955-57 carriages are passenger carriages built for the Italian State Railways in the 1950s. characterized by a length of 23.672m, they had a metal case with 9 compartments in first class, 9 in the second increasing comfort compared to the previous carriages which had 10 and 9 in mixed class, 4 of which were first class and 5 second. the carriages received various colors including the chestnut, the brown isabella, the slate gray typical of the Italian composition of the 70s and finally the red-gray beige of the 80s. these carriages remained in service on locani trains until the beginnings of 90's.
