Painting is like meditation to me, from childhood on paints and brushes are my constant companions. The Leipzig painter and graphic artist Gert Pötzschig gave me the first professional manuals. Also in Leipzig I learned the profession of writing and graphic painter and worked for the DEWAG, among other things also for the Leipziger fair.
Then I had the luck, as a cinema-laler for the Filmtheaterbetriebe Leipzig GmbH large canvas (2x3m) with writing and portrait painting to design freely. A dream job!
Unfortunately, in Germany, the cinema painting is almost extinct - only posters are glued.
A pity about an old craft ...
But I do not have a life without brushes and colors I have been giving acrylic painting classes for many years, creating house walls and making many realistic paintings. Also, the design of home calendars is on the program every year.
I was very much in the party when the church was restored in Seehausen.
Further large-scale wall murals (inside and outside) of my hand are also in the " Modellbahn Wiehe " White walls encourage me to shape them, interesting faces or nature's dazzling colors make me want to perpetuate them on canvas. |
