Zoom:
Seit Jahren fahren Erzzüge von Amsterdams Westhaven zu den Hochöfen
im Ruhrgebiet. Dies endete 1989, als es in Deutschland Chancen
geschaffen wurden, um das Erz per Binnenschiff zu transportieren.

Hilversum, 29. Juli 1973. An einem Sonntagnachmittag rumpelt die Lok 2334 mit drei braunen Gegenstücken
vorbei mit einem langen Erzzug. Der leere Zug kommt aus dem Ruhrgebiet und fährt zu
Amsterdam, um einem neuen Vorrat Eisenerz zu laden.
